“My Bricktopia”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of this website and store. By using our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any policies referenced here.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products and services.

You must be the age of majority in your place of residence, or have consent from a parent/guardian, to use this site.

You agree not to use our site or products for unlawful purposes, and not to transmit malware or harmful code.

We may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Non-card personal data may be transferred unencrypted over networks; card data is encrypted during transfer.

Prices, product descriptions and availability may change without notice. Promotions may be limited or withdrawn at any time.

We may limit or cancel quantities per customer, household or order. If we change or cancel an order, we’ll attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.

You agree to provide current and accurate billing, shipping and contact information so we can complete your transaction.

Note: Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Colours/images displayed online may vary by device. We may limit sales by region or quantity and may discontinue items at any time.

Our products are LED lighting kits and accessories designed to be compatible with LEGO® bricks; LEGO® sets shown are for illustration only and are not included unless stated.

Dispatch timeframes and transit estimates are provided in our Shipping page and at checkout. Delays may occur due to customs, carrier capacity or events outside our control.

Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide. Title transfers upon full payment being received.

Please check your address carefully. After dispatch, we cannot reroute or cancel shipments.

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order. Items must be returned in original condition and packaging. Return shipping is at your cost unless required by law.

For faulty/missing components, contact us with your order number, description and clear photos (video for remote/sound issues). We’ll troubleshoot and arrange replacement parts where appropriate.

Your rights under the CGA and other applicable laws remain in force and are not excluded by this policy.

Lighting components carry a 24-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, modified wiring, use with non-5V power, or normal wear and tear.

Where a defect is confirmed, we will repair, replace, or refund in accordance with NZ law.

Follow the product instructions and use a 5V USB power source only. Take care when routing ultra-thin wires between studs to avoid pinching.

Our products contain small parts and batteries and may pose a choking hazard. Not suitable for young children; adult supervision recommended.

We are not responsible for damage to third-party sets caused by incorrect installation or modification.

By submitting reviews, photos or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and share that content. Do not submit unlawful, offensive, or infringing material.

We may provide access to third-party tools and link to third-party sites. These are provided “as is” without warranties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

You agree not to use our site for unlawful activity; to infringe IP rights; to submit misleading information; to upload malware; to harvest personal data; to spam; or to bypass security features.

From time to time, our site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We may correct errors and update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice as permitted by law.

Except as required by law, the site and products are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Where we cannot exclude liability, our liability is limited to the price paid for the affected product(s). Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the CGA.

You agree to indemnify My Bricktopia against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of law or third-party rights.

If any provision is held unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted.

We may suspend or terminate access to the site for any breach. Obligations incurred before termination (e.g., payment) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts, with venue in Auckland.

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
